Over one lakh students to vote in DUSU polls
Polling is under way for the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) election and will be conducted in two sessions from 8.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. for day classes and from 3.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. for evening classes.
The election dynamics this year has undergone a change with the AISA forming an alliance with the CYSS; giving students a third option that does not practice the brand of “money and muscle politics” synonymous with DUSU elections.
The ABVP and the NSUI are looking to bag all four posts after bagging two seats each last year. The NSUI had won the post of president and vice-president while the ABVP got the position secretary and joint secretary.
